La poblaci\u00f3 de la zona \u00e9s majorit\u00e0riament d&#8217;\u00e8tnia gitana, i de primera generaci\u00f3 d&#8217;immigrants espanyols. En els darrers anys el barri ha experimentat una gran aflu\u00e8ncia de poblaci\u00f3 marroquina, que tamb\u00e9 hi conviu.<\/p>\n<p>El Bon Pastor t\u00e9 diversos centres educatius, com ara una escola; el Pla de Desenvolupament Comunitari (PDC) i l&#8217;escola d&#8217;adults. \u00c9s una zona on s&#8217;aboquen molts esfor\u00e7os i projectes perqu\u00e8 la poblaci\u00f3 amb risc d&#8217;exclusi\u00f3 social tingui possibilitats de millorar la seva qualitat de vida. Els principals\u00a0programes que es duen a terme des del Punt \u00d2mnia estan orientats a l&#8217;alfabetitzaci\u00f3 digital, i el treball per al\u00a0coneixement de les noves tecnologies de la informaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>El punt col\u00b7labora amb el SOC de Figueres per oferir cursos de recerca laboral seguint el convenciment que la formaci\u00f3 \u00e9s molt important i necess\u00e0ria per a assolir un m\u00ednim de coneixements inform\u00e0tics. Tamb\u00e9 s&#8217;hi potencia tot el treball comunitari amb diverses associacions de Figueres i del mateix Barri, per tal de cobrir possibles necessitats que a aquestes se&#8217;ls hi puguin presentar. Des de fa un temps es porten a terme projectes d&#8217;aprenentatge i servei amb Instituts de Figueres.<br \/>\n<div class=\"rl-gallery-container rl-loading\" id=\"rl-gallery-container-1\"
